Our swimwear and beachwear are crafted from delicate fabrics that require careful handling. Follow the guidelines below to help preserve the quality, fit and finish of your Melissa Odabash pieces.

Swimwear Care

• Rinse thoroughly after wearing.
• Hand wash with a very mild detergent.
• Reshape whilst wet.
• Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry or iron.
• Sunblock, lotions, oils and chlorine may cause discolouration. This is not considered a manufacturing defect.
• Your Melissa Odabash swimwear comes with a reusable, waterproof pouch, ideal for storing your swimwear.
• Ribbed and ridged fabrics are particularly susceptible to snagging. Keep away from rough surfaces and abrasive materials.

Beachwear Care

• Hand wash in cold water with a very mild detergent, unless the care label states otherwise.
• Some styles are dry clean only. Always check the garment care label before cleaning.
• Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry or iron.
• Sunblock, lotions, oils and chlorine may cause discolouration.
• Knit and crochet garments should be stored folded rather than hung, to help maintain their shape.
• Beachwear styles made from 100% viscose may be susceptible to shrinkage. Take extra care when washing and drying, and follow the garment care label.

Accessories Care

• Clean using a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Avoid rough or abrasive materials that could scratch or damage the surface.
• For soiled areas, use a very mild detergent and clean gently.
