Girls Beachwear is Melissa Odabash's daughter's beachwear collection, in cotton and viscose, built to survive sand, sun cream and a full day in and out of the water.
Dressing a daughter for the beach is rarely just about her outfit - it's about whether it holds up to sand, sun cream and a full day in and out of the water without falling apart by lunchtime. Girls Beachwear is built around that reality first, with the same considered eye Melissa Odabash brings to the adult range second. Two decades of dressing mothers for the same trip means the details - a hem that survives repeated washing, a colour that doesn't fade after a week of sun - are considered here rather than assumed. Girls Rebekah leads the edit in lavender or white cotton, cut for genuine daily wear rather than a single photograph. Girls Sharize and Girls Sienna extend the range across white, starfish print and yellow, in cotton and a softer viscose depending on the piece. Girls Ashley and Girls Leonie round out the collection in pink, rose and further lavender and white tones, giving a full mini-me colour story to pair alongside the adult range. Pair with Girls Swimwear underneath and a wide-brimmed hat from Hats for full family coordination on a beach day. A daughter's holiday wardrobe deserves the same care as her mother's.
